    Last part of this project, during the winter prepared the doors, put in the interior, windows etc. The car is now ready to be driven. Must say im very glad with the result. Total costs of this paintjob for which i had to buy 5 litrs 1k boatpaint,a polishmachine, polishpaste (poorboys world), lots of rollers and sandpaper: about 300 euro.

    Here some pics of my '73 Ascona which i decided to paint with a roller because a proffesional paintjob was to expensive for me. I got the idea from some other projects i saw on the internet such as 'the 50 dollar paintjob'. I bought some boatpaint, rollers and rolled the body 6 times, wetsanding it after every second time beginning with 600 up to 1000. The last picture is when i rolled it for the first time. Looked already great, after the 6 th time i rolled the car i started wetsanding using 1200 up to 2000. Then it was time to start the polishing, on the next video you can see some results of that.
